You can also trade your games in directly to RentZero for rental credit. One of the best features of RentZero is when you are browsing for games, the website clearly lists if the game is currently available, has a short wait or is coming soon.

Although most games include a summary they do not have reviews. They also do not offer any games for hand held systems.

I recently signed up for RentZero’s “Free Trial. I did not like their rental policy that said they could charge $50 if the game was lost, but that didn’t worry me until the first game did not arrive for several days. Very quickly I began to get a bad feeling about this company. I did a deeper search on RentZero and found a review by a person on the internet who said they had signed up for a trial and never received a game, yet they were charged $50 for the “lost” game. I also found out they have a “unsatisfactory rating with the BBB.

After nearly a week I finally received the game. I am located in the same state as RentZero and the company claims that games should arrive in 1 day. I returned the game as soon as I received it and did not clear my queue for another week. Needless to say, I cancelled my membership before they could make any charges.

. . . Or so I thought. I found out today that RentZero attempted to charge thousands of dollars on my credit card. Luckily I used a Discover Card Secure Online Number and they were not successful. I contacted the Texas Attorney General and the Bellaire Police Department but unfortunately because they did not succeed in stealing from me, I cannot file a criminal report.

Thus, I am doing the only thing I can do, which is get the word out that RentZero is not a honest company and no one should trust them with their credit card information.

I’ve had constant problems with RentZero. Games have been lost. I’ve waited over a month without a game …a few times! And they don’t respond to my complaints. I’ve tried to resolve the issues, and I told them I’d be posting comments online. They didn’t even respond to that. I feel completely ripped off, and recommend that people avoid doing business with this company.

6 of the first 8 or 9 games arrived unplayable the 1st weeks of a year long “agreement.” One of the six was split from the center hub to the edge. I complained about the service quality, asking for a full refund. RentZero “locked” the account, did not send additional games, will not reply to e-inquiries, and – 6 MONTHS LATER – have NOT refunded ANY of the money paid in advance. I’ve e-mailed RentZero multiple times, letters sent to the TX AG, and the Harris Country TX AG, and BBB of Houston with no response form RentZero.

It is bs saying they charge you a deposit when they send you a game since I have been using them for awhile and that has never happened to me and when one of my games got lost in the mail I emailed them and they sent me out a duplicate pretty quickly and I didn’t have one problem with them saying they would charge me anything for it. The main problem I have is the long waiting time between getting new games since it takes about 5 days each way for the shipping of the games.

read the rental policy before you try this game, EVEN for free trial

things such as

charging you $50 for each game when send (for assurance in case of lost but will be gone when game is returned)

only allow one lost game, if more you will pay $50 for each

when cancelled you had 3 days to returned games, if not $50 for each. (other provide at least 7 days)

there are other things but i can’t remember, but i remember that they mentioned about $50 a lot!!!

Be afraid be very afraid!!! They do not have customer service at all… They have never responded to my emails. I’ve send back a game more than month ago… and the game queue never got updated… i’ve send inquries about the game, but they never replied back… i’ve cancelled the service but i think they will still charge me for he game i’ve returned… in 6 months i’ve been able to get 3 games from them… and it costed me more than it would if i would purchase all those games… this simply is not way to conduct the business… i encurage all unhappy customers to post to all available forums against this fraud company… to protect any potential future victim of their business
